Art for Earthjustice: Opening Reception | November 4th, 5 - 7pm
Benefit Exhibition in support of Earthjustice
Maybaum Gallery will host Art for Earthjustice, a benefit exhibition and online auction organized by Katherine Meadowcroft in support of Earthjustice, at 150 Post Street from November 4–21, 2026.
Bringing together artists working across painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media, Art for Earthjustice offers collectors the opportunity to acquire distinctive works while supporting Earthjustice’s efforts to protect public lands, wildlife, and the right to a healthy environment. The exhibition will feature artists whose practices engage with nature and the Earth’s ecosystems, including Jorge Méndez Blake, Russell Crotty, Nick Gorham, and Maximo Gonzalez, with additional participating artists to be announced.
The exhibition is organized by Katherine Meadowcroft, an essayist, curator, and advocate for art and nature, who conceived Art for Earthjustice as a way to channel the Bay Area art community’s support toward frontline environmental advocacy. A percentage of proceeds from sales during the exhibition and online auction will benefit Earthjustice, a nonprofit environmental law organization working to protect clean air, clean water, wildlife, and a stable climate.
An opening reception will take place on Wednesday, November 4, from 5–7 PM, welcoming members of the Earthjustice team alongside participating artists, collectors, and community supporters.
