Nadia Yaron | Still Flowering
Current exhibition
Overview
A show about courage, resilience, and growth
These works are autobiographical in my quest to lose myself in nature and,
consequentially, become one with it. My daughters and I have been so immersed in
exploring and admiring nature, especially flowers, that at some point we became the
flowers and the flowers became us.
This exhibition displays works on textiles, paintings, and sculptures made over the course
of 2024. They are pieces made in devotion and with care, inspired by the wisdom of
flowers.
When outdoor conditions became too frigid for work, I often took to painting and
embroidering indoors, occasionally receiving assistance from my twin daughters. I
created paintings of the flowers I captured in photographs, striving to convey their
essence, spirit, and aura.
Flowers connect us to the mystery and the hope- the magic. Flowers simultaneously
represent transience and eternity. These pieces are portraits— up close and personal—
exhibiting the personal light and natural magic of each unique flower.
